TEXT: Mark 12:41-44
There are basically three kinds of givers:
“And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting
money into the offering box.” v. 41
I. Giving is the Privilege and Responsibility of _______________. v. 42
“Many rich people…and a poor widow.”
II. Giving is to be Measured Not by What is _______________, but by What is _____________. vv. 42-43

III. Giving is to be Motivated by _______________. v. 44
“out of her poverty”
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9
1. What kind of giver are you? Flint? Sponge? Honeycomb?
2. Is there ever a time when it is unwise to give? Why or why not?
3. If someone examined your giving, where would he say your heart is?
4. How does knowing what Jesus has done for you motivate you in your giving?
