“I do not at all understand the mystery of grace - only that it meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us.” -Anne Lamott

altWelcome! Our women's ministry is called Women of Grace, and there's a place for you. The Women of Grace seek to glorify God in prayer, study, service, worship and fellowship. Come explore the many opportunities to connect and grow at Grace.

We Connect With One Another

Through The Following:

  • Prayer
Tuesday 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Because prayer is powerful and so important, a group of ladies meets every Tuesday at the church, from 9:30-11:00 to pray – for special needs within the congregation, for our missionaries, for the lost, and for other local, national and global issues. Following prayer there is discussion based on Randy Alcorn's book,Heaven. We all have questions about what heaven will be like, and Dr. Alcorn has some answers from the Bible.Contact: Mary Woodall
  • Service
Throughout the year we support projects within the congregation and the community. We stay connected with our denomination, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), by raising funds for the yearly Faith Focus project.

FAITH FOCUS 2008-2010 -- Eagles' Wings -- partners with World Outreach missionaries, Beverly and Austin McCaskill, to provide a safe and nurturing home near Tirana, Albania. This home is for adolescent girls who are forced, due to their age, to leave state-run orphanages. In a country where "family" is everything, orphans are often left feeling that they are worthless. Having no place to go and no one to care for them, these teenagers are at very high risk of being abused. Girls are especially vulnerable to being forced into prostitution or human trafficking. The three-year FAITH FOCUS project will serve to provide financial resources for such support as: staff training, home furnishings, appliances, educational resources, health training and land development to support the home
  • Fellowship
Sharing meals is a great way to gather for fellowship. Not only do we enjoy getting together around the table in fellowship and for study, but also we prepare mercy meals for those who are ill, or have had a death in the family. We visit members who are homebound, and celebrate with those who are getting married or having a baby.
  • Study

Bible Studies

Every Other Thursday at 7:30pm - meeting in rotating homes. A new, young women's small group meets for prayer and discussion based on Twelve Extraordinary Women by John MacArthur. Contact: Stephanie Gates

Friday 6:30am at Chappy’s Deli on Perry Hill Road. Respectable Sins - Confronting the Sins We Tolerate. Jerry Bridges addresses a dozen clusters of specific "acceptable" sins that we tend to tolerate in ourselves and others. In his admonitions he offers a message of hope in the profound mercy of the gospel and the transforming grace of God as the means to overcoming our subtle sins. Contact: Dee Erickson

At Grace we realize that relationships with other women are vital to our walk with the Lord. The Women of Grace are eager to welcome you to our church family. We encourage you to join us.
