Get Connected
In order to know God, we must know His Word and be connected to His Body. We do this through, personal Bible study, hearing the Word preached, attending Bible studies, participating in Christian Education, and connecting with other people on the path of the Christian life.
At our Church, we hope that you will find numerous ways to grow in your walk with Christ. Here is our strategy:
MINDFUL LOVE
Jesus tells us that the greatest commandment is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength.” What we believe about God does matter; Christians are called to study the Bible, theology, and doctrine. This is a key way that we love God with our minds.
DISCIPLES
Jesus tells us to “make disciples of all men.” This is the clear calling upon the Church. We take this charge seriously and seek to nurture each person into following behind our Teacher of “the way.” Only the Spirit makes converts. We are disciples making disciples. We have many teachers that are gifted in passionately sharing about their love for Christ.
STUDIES
We have numerous Sunday School classes that cover practical life issues, books of the Bible, Current Topics, and Doctrine. We offer children’s classes that are not moralistic, but seek to lead them to walk in a relationship with the God who forgives them of their sins. There are numerous LifeGroups, small groups studies, and special opportunities for growing in your faith; be it new or maturing.
BIBLICAL ABOVE ALL
We believe that the Bible is the literal Word of God. It is inerrant & infallible in its content and is “useful for teaching, correcting, rebuking, and training in righteousness.” All studies will be deeply routed in Scripture.
